Organic Indoor Maitake Mushroom Growing Kit

Maitake mushrooms (Grifola frondosa) or “Hen of the Woods”  is one of the most popular medicinal mushrooms.The succulent delicious mushroom grows best in a 55–70° F environment. Unwrap and water your mushroom spawn once or twice a day. Clusters of Maitake will spring forth in 2–3 weeks. Once your first flush has been harvested, the Maitake Mushroom grow kit must be transferred to an outdoor bed for subsequent fruitings, which can occur in 6–12 months.

Each Maitake Mushroom Growing Kit consists of pure mushroom mycelium growing on a sterilized medium, or substrate. The substrate used will vary, depending on the mushroom being grown.
