Grow Certified Organic Shiitake Mushrooms
Grow Organic Shiitake Mushrooms for Chinese and Japanese dishes! The excellent taste and nutrition of Shiitake mushrooms make them extremely popular. Dried or pickled shiitake mushrooms are good for cooking. Harvest the mushrooms every two weeks over a16 week period. A 50-80° F environment is best for cultivation. Certified Organic! The Shiitake Mushroom Kit will produce 2-3 pounds of mushrooms over a 12-16 week period, in crops that will spring forth in approximately two week intervals. The Shiitake Mushroom Patch™ grows on a mixture of enriched hardwood sawdust and wood chips Each Mushroom Growing Kit consists of pure mushroom mycelium growing on a sterilized medium, or substrate. The substrate used will vary, depending on the mushroom being grown.

After they have finished producing indoors, The Shiitake Indoor Mushroom Patches™ can be brought "back to life" through outdoor cultivation. When your Shiitake Mushroom Kit has completed it cycles indoors, the mushroom spawn can be broken up and used to inoculate hardwood logs outdoors!
